A reputed digital platform company in Tinkune, Kathmandu is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate record-keeping. This Accountant job in Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal focuses on handling accounts, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain financial compliance. - Maintain and update daily financial records with accuracy
- Prepare invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Handle general ledger entries, journals, and balance sheets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Coordinate with the Senior Chartered Accountant to ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements
- Manage billing, vouchers, and ledger documentation
- Support management with accounts-related tasks and reporting
- Handle TDS and VAT filing, petty cash transactions, and data entry in TALLY or Tigg (guidance provided by Senior CA)
- Assist in audit preparation and related documentation
- Support general office accounting and administrative activities

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (BBS / BBA)
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an accounting role
- Practical knowledge of accounting software such as TALLY or Tigg
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and accounting principles
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Honest, responsible, and well-organized
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Must have own two-wheeler (bike or scooter)
